“Traveler’s Tool Kit” Book of the Year

Travelers Tool Kit Cover

The website Planeta.com, self-described as a global journal of practical ecotourism, has just named Traveler’s Tool Kit: Mexico & Central America by Rob Sangster and Tim Leffel, a book of the year in its guidebook category. This is the third year that Planeta.com has featured Book of the Year Awards and the website reports that this year over 300 people participated by voting.

“This year’s competition was our most popular ever,” said Ron Mader, founder and host of the award-winning Planeta.com website. “We are very pleased to see this record turn-out.”

Mader went on to say that the award was created to improve the communication among Planeta.com, authors, publishers, and Planeta.com readers. “This award allows us to update our bibliographies, add links to author blogs, twitter and flickr galleries.”
